Based on the success of the Suunto Vector, the Suunto Core features an altimeter, barometer, thermometer, Barometric Trend Indicator and a digital compass.

The barometer functions in four distinct modes. Please note that the Suunto Core features an automatic alti-baro mode that senses movement or the lack of it, switching between altimeter and barometer accordingly. When you're climbing, the ABC wristop computer records changes in elevation. And when you stop to rest, it records changes in barometric pressure.

The rotating bezel enables you to use your wristop computer as a traditional compass. You can set and follow a bearing with a traditional rotating bezel or simply point the top of the watch toward your intended destination and lock it in with the press of a single button. The wristop computer can display duel times, the date and daily sunrise and sunset times. Additionally, the Suunto Core features a chronometer.
